Apprentice Program
Dream job? We think so. Imagine working in the finest luxury homes in America, installing state-of-the-art systems. It’s a steady 40-hour work week, with great hours, 7A to 4P Monday thru Friday.
The work is highly varied, and you will do everything from running wire and cabling to cutting in speakers, wall controls, and even mounting projectors, TVs, shades, cameras, sensors, lighting fixtures, and more. You will be working with low voltage, network products, programmable devices, and mechanical lifts. There are a wide variety of manufacturer products, and you will install and test all of them. You will calibrate and troubleshoot various products as well. Providing exceptional customer service is expected.
Get Paid To Learn
Workers from the military, trained electricians, and motivated job seekers outside of Custom Integration are invited to start a career as a home electronic systems technician apprentice. Once hired, they enter the paid program with the goal of finishing extensive training, reaching milestones, earning credentials, and receiving wage advancements within four-months.
Completion of the program empowers previously unskilled workers to develop their skills, acquire basic knowledge and work towards their Home Electronic Systems Technician Level 1 status.
What You Will Learn
During your 13-week apprentice period, you will be learning all the fundamentals online while working as a custom integrator. There are over 90 skills and 70 knowledge areas that you will master before becoming a Level 1 technician
Work Immediately
Opportunities abound to work in this exciting industry. Typical apprentice positions include field technician, customer service support and logistics/warehouse support. PrepTECH prepares you for interviews in just 1 to 2 weeks.
TECHNICIAN
Pre-wire, install, connect, and configure electronic components for network, audio, video, security, lighting, and control systems.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
Communicate with customers by telephone and in person. Share company information about products and services.
LOGISTICS
Direct the flow of materials and equipment to support the successful completion of projects.
